when i was younger (childhood, teenage, young adult years) i was a religious fundamentalist. that means i was fully indoctrinated and fully committed to the catholic ideology i was exposed to and the near literal interpretation of the bible (there's a strong genetic component to this http://www.ahandfulofleaves.org/documents/The-God-Part-of-the-Brain_Alper.pdf read about potential for religiosity on page 182). when i went to college i was introduced to judaism and islam and studied both religions fairly extensively. i then considered converting to islam and my commitment to the faith leaned toward extremism (i was an islamic fundamentalist and potential terrorist prior to September 11, 2001). i bring this to your attention because during this time i was a sexually repressed, sexually inhibited, religious zealot! i had no relationships with any females*, especially of a sexual nature, i was hostile toward promiscuous, lewd, sexually crude people, and i contemplated bombing strip clubs, sex shops, brothels, and the manufacturers and traffickers of pornographic material. (i was ready to be a good little terrorist and i wasn't alone. SDBINLADEN) why was i this way? because of genetics (i have genes inclining me toward sexual conservatism, traditionalism, sexual guilt, and sexual shame) combined with the highly religious, sexually repressive environment i was brought up in. anyway, i think this genetic and environmental (social and cultural) makeup has led to many of my woes, especially my woes related to females as well as everything that has to do with this blog (the self-righteousness that you read here along with the sexually repressed desires that are revealed in my writing and posting of porn (MY LATENT DESIRES REVEAL THEMSELVES THROUGH WHAT I WRITE!)). what do you think? gimme some feedback?
